Claudia Colmenares clearly knows what she's doing—this washed Gesha is so fruit-forward it almost feels like a tea, with a sweetness that lingers long after the last sip. I've been through three bags already and it's still my favorite morning ritual.
I brewed this as a pour-over and the fruit-forward character really shone through—bright, almost tea-like, but with a big, lingering finish. Claudia's traditional processing clearly lets the Gesha speak for itself.
I was skeptical that a washed Gesha could be this expressive, but Claudia's traditional processing really delivers—each cup is bursting with bright fruit that lingers long after the last sip. Plenty of character without losing that delicate elegance I look for in a pour-over.
