Changing with the seasons 3-4 times a year, our Pathfinder programme is intentionally curated to showcase coffees from lesser-featured producing countries, to create a ‘bright’ coffee profile that suits espresso brewing.
The Ethiopian beans really shine through as a bright, vibrant shot—almost citrusy in the finish. I've been pulling it daily for a week and it's become my go-to morning ritual.
Pulled my first shot this morning and the brightness really comes through—almost like a citrusy pop under the crema. It's a totally different vibe from my usual dark roasts, and the texture holds up nicely with milk. Definitely grabbing another bag before the season shifts.
The sweetness and complexity here are unreal for an espresso – it pulls a thick shot with a floral finish that lingers just right. I've been brewing it daily since the bag arrived and it's already my favorite rotation this season.
