The pressure-actuated valve is the real deal—it builds just enough resistance to keep the brew from dripping through, so I finally get a proper steep before I press. No paper filters needed anymore, which saves me a step every morning.
I was skeptical about ditching paper filters, but the pressure-actuated valve creates a clean cup with hardly any fines slipping through. Setup takes seconds and cleanup is just a quick rinse. Worth it if you brew AeroPress daily.
