The rim is uneven in a way that proves it's hand thrown, and the Cornish clay feels wonderfully dense and cool to hold. I've used mine every morning for a week now and the speckled matt finish just seems to get better with each wash.
The speckled matt white finish feels lovely and organic, and the weight of the clay is just right for a morning coffee. It's clearly hand-thrown, with subtle unevenness that makes each cup feel one-of-a-kind.
The speckle in the matt white glaze is even prettier in person, and the hand-thrown shape gives it a lovely organic feel. I can tell the Cornish clay makes it sturdy yet delicate to hold. Already my favorite mug for morning coffee.
