This is the first coffee I've had shipped by sail, and honestly the mellow, rounded profile comes through exactly as described. It pulls a lovely espresso with a soft body that doesn't need any sugar. I'd buy it again just for the story behind the transport.
The sail-shipping story is what sold me, and the coffee itself lives up to the romance—pulled a rich, rounded shot with zero bitterness. Carmen Lúcia clearly knows her craft; this is espresso I’ll be reordering.
