Dor & Tan - Beaker (speckle spelt)

The cup feels substantial in my hand, and I love that it’s made from clay dug right out of Cornwall—you can almost sense the place in its texture. It’s become my go-to mug for slow Sunday mornings, and the hand-thrown shape makes every sip feel a bit more deliberate.

The speckle in the clay catches the light differently every morning, and the weight in my hand feels just right. You can tell it’s hand thrown—the slight unevenness around the rim is actually my favorite part.

I’ve been using this beaker for my morning coffee and the speckled texture from the Cornish clay is genuinely lovely to hold, each cup feels one of a kind. It takes a bit longer to warm up than my old mug, but that’s a fair trade for the hand-thrown charm.
