A 5.5% Coffee Porter for our latest collaboration with Verdant, an independent brewery located in Penryn, just a short drive from the Roastery.

The 5.5% ABV is spot on for a sessionable porter, and the coffee note from the Penryn collaboration lingers just enough without overpowering the malt. I grabbed a pack of 4 for a weekend and the balance held up from the first can to the last.
The 5.5% ABV is spot on for a sessionable winter warmer, and the coffee character from the Verdant collab comes through without being bitter. Four cans disappeared fast over the holidays, and the pour had a nice, creamy head that lingered.
The pour is a deep, almost black brown with a tan head that lingers, and that 5.5% strength means I can enjoy a couple without it knocking me sideways. The coffee character from the local Penryn roastery cuts through the dark malt nicely, making it a proper sipper for a cold evening.
